USAID assistance helped build a fence around the elementary school in Batinjani to keep children away from mines. Children now have modernly equipped classrooms thanks to USAID assistance. The school was reconstructed by the U.S. European Command (EUCOM) in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works and Reconstruction.
