This is a joint City of Varazdin, USAID and Microsoft project, supported bv Hewlett Packard, Cisco and Croatian Telecom (T-Com).
USAID and Microsoft share the goal of stimulating the development of Croatia's IT industry to support growth and job creation.
By all accounts, the Center has served as a catalyst for the development of innovative software products and encouraged young Croatian entrepreneurs to hone their IT skills so that they can more effectively compete in the global technology marketplace."

Investing in Croatia's IT Future
Last year, the City of Varazdin, USAID and Microsoft formed an alliance with Hewlett Packard, Cisco, and T-Com to open a Business Technology Center to support Croatia's information technology (IT) efforts. Promoting New Investment in the Vukovar Region
USAID and the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) organized an investment promotion workshop focused on the City of Vukovar and the Vukovar Srijem County in February 2006.
